Hello Gurus, I play world in conflict on my rig (seen on left) and the frame rates suck even at medium settings. I would expect them to be in the high 50's or 60's with the 3870 x2. I guess the rest of the compenents (Primarily the 2.6 Ghz x2 socket 939 chip and the 4Gb of DDR 400) won't cut it anymore. What are your guys takes? I am trying to game at 1650*1080 on my LCD.
It is a seriously demanding game, I can get 16,660 in 3DMARK06, but only an average of 30FPS in WIC!! Thats at 1280*1024, 4 SSAA 16AF. As you said, your CPU is the main issue: It was good once, but it's bottom of the pile now.
