Just hoping Davies doesn't get injured...Already Mane out before the world cup even started and Hernandez with season ending ACL injury after playing less than 15 minutes. Just great...

I agree Kevin De Bruyne is one of the best in the world. Belgium might win.
CANADA has been robbed so far lol.Better team on the pitch,a couple penalty's missed even with VAR,I have no clue how they missed them. Then Canada actually missed a penalty shot ,I still have faith though in Canada,I am so surprised they are down a goal going into the second half.

The game has been there for Canada to win, they have had countless chances. If only they had been able to put the ball into the net like Japan and Saudi Arabia did.
    Still 30 minutes left.

100% they should have won the game.It is what it is they lost a game they had no chance from anyone before hand.Wow they played as I knew they would ,awesome game.
Canada had more attempts at goal in this game then they had in 1986 in all 3 games played crazy.

Alphonso Davies scored against Croatia on Sunday Nov 27 2022 to give Canada its first-ever goal at the men's World Cup.

The goal came 67 seconds into the game.

Canada's goalkeeper Milan Borjan set up the play with a long goal kick that found Cyle Larin down field.

Larin headed the ball to Tajon Buchanan on the right flank.

A cross from Buchanan then found Davies flying through the air and the Bayern Munich star headed the ball past Croatian keeper Dominik Livaković to give Canada a 1-0 lead.

Hopefully Canada will be back for the next world cup now that they have had a taste of what it's like.

I agree 100%. The next World Cup is in Canada in 2026 so they will be qualified.

Not all bad new Nov 27 2022 for team Canada today.

Canada won its first Davis Cup title on Sunday, beating Australia behind victories from Denis Shapovalov and Felix Auger-Aliassime.

Montreal's Auger-Aliassime beat Australia's Alex de Minaur 6-4, 6-3 on Sunday to clinch Canada's first Davis Cup championship.

Shapovalov, from Richmond Hill, Ont., won Canada's first singles match — 6-2, 6-4 over Thanasi Kokkinakis — on Sunday.

Hang on a minute guys, Canada may well be unable to qualify for the next round, but they still have 1 game left.
When you are talking about gaining experience, this is 33% of the experience available still to go.
1st game they were unfortunate not to be able to finish chances, 2nd game they were outclassed by an aging but very skilled team.
They must use this 3rd game to start their preparation for 2026. I know it is 4 years away but for Canada, it all starts now.

Proud of Team Canada making it to the World CUP for the first time in 36 years. Hosting World Cup in 2026.
The fans in this game were awesome.
