Yes that is great to read on the deal and I knew it would be something basic.Although a lot of people could not find and install and use a free VPN or even know what VPN is.
VPN is the method I buy all my games now except the bundle on bought here.Sick of the $60/$70/$80/$90/$100+ games.

Damm this game runs so awesome Maxed out 4K it is crazy. This is how games should run out of the box and we would never have to buy good video cards all the time J/K that will never happen.

Man the PC settings in this game are also awesome, just need HD textures for some things and RTX to be released for the game.

Not sure if I want to start the game now without RTX patch, maybe I try out Old Blood again ,it is a short game but by the time i am finished RTX might be released.

The advanced options should have some extras above default ultra though with a AMD Vega 56 ("Pulse" version though that's not important, memory amount is the main thing for this.) at 8 GB VRAM pushing the texture stream pool to 4095 MB gives a memory warning so the rest of the data is near or almost exceeding the amount available so I settled at 3072 instead still above the 2048 range and without any wawrning messages. :)

That's at 2560x1440 too so a bit more than 1920x1080 but less than 3840x2160 though a 12 GB and the full out 16 GB GPU's might be able to push 4095 and custom values. (6144 to 8192 MB.)
In general though unless this is dropped below 2048 as it's a combination of cache and texture quality the image difference should primarily be the time it takes for assets to stream from lowest to highest detail and retaining less in memory before it needs to be swapped, can't really get objects to have more detail than what the data that's available can provide like New Colossus and the first person low-res weapon textures before that got patches despite ini tweaking trying to make some improvements. :)

EDIT: Speaking of that I wonder if the facial textures are more defined than they were in the prior game compared to the high detail found in New World Order and Old Blood.
Not a huge deal since many of the big scenes are actual cutscenes but still a noticeable change far as image quality is concerned even though idTech6 or 6.5 holds many other improvements especially for AMD going with Vulkan instead of OpenGL as a big one.
(The Windows OGL drivers while mostly compatible not exactly being known for their performance after all.)

It's like sometimes when a 3rd or 4th game comes around in a series it's like the developers throw away everything that made people buy and like the first couple of games and make absolute garbage nobody wanted.

glad they worked out, its certainly a steal at the price, now ive completed it, im having fun dropping into other peoples games and coop'ing with them, it retains your levels and collectables in your game for dropping in theirs, so its quite fun revisiting and seeing how easy the earlier levels are leveled up.

The game is good, remember wolfenstein 3 is still being made, young blood was a spin off, not many like those, same with new dawn, blood dragon etc. For a free / $25 game, its certainly not as bad as its slated.

Except this isn't Wolfenstein 3. That's why Arkane were brought in to do the bulk of the heavy lifting here, Machinegames core team is busy working on Wolf 3.
If you watch the credits, the majority of Youngblood was made by Arkane, with a small team of people from Machinegames overseeing/helping.

Also, that's not exactly a fair comparison.
FEAR 3 was made by a different studio, and they openly took Monolith's design docs for FEAR 3 and threw them out, rewriting the entire story and making their own choices.
Dead Space 3, Visceral didn't get to make the game they planned as EA forced tons of changes.

You mean the scene where she's flipping off her sister?
She's "blowing" up the middle finger to flip her off.

Yeah, I've seen that one in game. She blows into her thumb multiple times, blowing up the middle finger.

Then, her sister acts like she types into her palm, and flips up her middle finger.

    Aug 7 update
We deployed a very small update today at 11:00 ET/15:00 UTC to enable Japanese language support for the Japanese launch of Wolfenstein: Youngblood. There are no other inclusions or changes in this update. Thanks all!
Our upcoming Wolfenstein: Youngblood patch addresses critical issues relating to game crashes and issues otherwise preventing players from progressing.
This update also includes other notable changes, including improvements to PC matchmaking and bug fixes resolving issues related to in-game audio and achievements. Please note that the patch is live now on PC, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One support to follow soon at a later date. Follow @wolfenstein on Twitter to get the latest information.
Thank you for your support of Wolfenstein: Youngblood. We appreciate your constructive feedback over the past few days since launch. We will continue to monitor these threads for your suggestions, bug reports, and other issues you may be experiencing.
    PATCH HIGHLIGHTS
    • Crash fixes: This update fixes crash issues for multiple platforms, including crashes for Windows 7 users running at specific resolutions; and crashes caused by attempting specific in-game actions.
    • Audio fixes: Fixed issues causing sounds to suddenly “drop out.”
    • 100% Completion & Achievements: Fixed issues that could prevent players from reaching 100% completion of Wolfenstein: Youngblood. (Finding everything in the game.) This includes players being unable to previously complete the Partisan achievement.
    • PC – Inviting friends: We’ve made it easier for players to invite their friends to games, specifically for players on Steam and using the Buddy Pass.
    CRASH FIXES
    ALL PLATFORMS
    • Fixed a crash that could occur if the player used Crush in specific areas of Riverside.
    PC
    • Fixed an issue causing frequent crashes on Windows 7 machines with high-end video cards. Previously, the game would crash if the player attempted to use the following resolutions:
      • 3440x1440 borderless window
      • 2560x1080 borderless window
      • 2560x1080 fullscreen
This occurred primarily with Windows 7 users using GTX 1080 cards but may have affected other users as well.
FOR PC USERS EXPERIENCING THE “COULD NOT WRITE CRASH DUMP” ERROR
“Could not write crash dump” is default messaging given when the game client crashes and could be caused by several reasons. If you are encountering this message, particularly when attempting to start the game, here are some things to look at:
    • Please verify that your PC meets the minimum specifications of the game, found here.
    • Frequently, this error occurs due to old drivers or drivers that did not have a clean installation. (For example, users who upgraded to a video card from a different manufacturer without uninstalling their previous drivers.) Make sure you have the latest drivers, and it is recommended that you perform a clean install using tools such as Display Driver Uninstaller.
If you still experiencing this issue and are using the latest drivers after a clean install with a PC that meets the minimum specs, please contact our support team at https://help.bethesda.net and provide your DXDiag and MSInfo. You can find instructions on how to create those here.
    PLAYSTATION 4
    • Fixed a multiplayer crash that would occur if the Client player pressed an elevator button while the Host player was in the Journal menu on the Weapons tab.
    AUDIO FIXES
    ALL PLATFORMS
    • Fixed an audio dropout issue that could occur when toggling the Kugelgewehr flashlight on and off. This audio dropout would persist until the game was restarted.
    • Fixed an issue that would occasionally cause sound effects to cut out when using the flashlight.
    • Reduced the frequency of an issue that caused a variety of audio issues (volume levels, dropouts, etc.) when killing multiple Nazis rapidly with the ElektroKraftwerk weapon.
    • Rebalanced several VO levels to bring them in line with the rest of the game.
    GAMEPLAY FIXES
    ALL PLATFORMS
    • Fixed an issue preventing Client players from picking up heavy weapon ammo from downed enemies if they had the Bigger Guns perk. All players with the Bigger Guns perk will now be able to pick up heavy weapon ammo dropped by enemies.
    • Resolved an issue that was causing Client players to do substantially more damage than higher-level Host players in co-op.
    • Fixed an issue where the “Lothar and Juju’s Trap” mission could become blocked if the player first completed the “Missing Partner” mission as a Client player.
    • Fixed an issue that could allow drones to spawn from drone towers even after players turned them off with the floppy disk code.
    PLAYSTATION 4
    • Fixed an issue that could cause the Ubergarde to fail to spawn in the Da’at Yichud Labs area. This enemy should now spawn correctly for all users.
ART, GRAPHICS, AND USER INTERFACE FIXES
    ALL PLATFORMS
    • Fixed an issue that could cause objective markers for the “Destroy the Machines” mission to display in-world and on the minimap when the mission was not active.
    • Fixed an issue that was causing elevator buttons in the Tower 2 landing pad to flicker between displays, resulting in players sometimes choosing the wrong floor despite it appearing correct.
    • Fixed an issue where Lothar was missing teleport animations and visual FX for Client players.
    • Fixed some areas of missing fog that was affecting vistas.
    • Added a notification to warn players of poor network conditions.
    ONLINE CO-OP FIXES
    PC
    • Steam – Added the ability to use the Buddy Pass from the Escape menu while in-game, rather than having to be on the main menu to invite a Buddy.
    • Steam – Fixed an issue that could prevent Friends of a Host whose Steam profile is set to “Private” from seeing or joining their session.
    • Steam – Added additional notifications when a Steam user attempts to retrieve the friends list when their Steam profile is set to “Private.” Players will now be notified: “Could not retrieve your Steam Friends List. Please check the Privacy settings of your Steam Profile.”
    • Changed “Find Player” to “Find Bethesda.net Player” on the PC BNET dropdown to clarify flow for finding and inviting friends.
    XBOX ONE
    • Fixed an issue that could prevent players with a suspended game from properly accepting a co-op invite.
    ACHIEVEMENTS/TROPHIES AND GAME COMPLETION FIXES
    ALL PLATFORMS
    • The “Revive” tutorial somehow went missing. We have added the tutorial back into the game and players can now complete the game to 100%.
    • Fixed an issue that was preventing some players from unlocking the “Partisan” achievement despite meeting the criteria.
    PC
    • Fixed an issue that was preventing Client players from completing the “Slide ‘n Shoot” challenge.
    MISCELLANEOUS FIXES
    PC
    • We previously released a hotfix that prevents users from using a 3rd-party application to cheat and add unlimited Silver Coins, Wolfenstein: Youngblood’s in-game earnable currency. This note is intended to clarify this fix.

    Updates later this week,No RTX

Hello everyone! We’d like to thank all our players who have provided us with their thoughts and constructive opinions on Wolfenstein: Youngblood.

We’ve been carefully listening your concerns and frustrations, and the Machine Games team has been diligently working on updating the game with features and fixes to make your experience liberating Paris as Jess and Soph Blazkowicz a better one, whether you’re playing in online co-op with a friend or tackling the story solo.

Here's a look at what's coming for Wolfenstein: Youngblood:

    Upcoming Patch Highlights
    Update 1.0.4
The team at Machine Games has been working on adding a pause function for Offline mode, as well as fixing several issues that players have encountered with achieving 100% game completion. We are targeting this update for LATER THIS WEEK on PC.

You can read the full patch notes for 1.0.4 below.

    Update 1.0.5
In our 1.0.5 update, we are working to address a host of game difficulty and progression issues based on your feedback. This includes:
    • Additional checkpoints
    • Difficulty adjustments across the board, especially in boss fights
    • Addressing the feeling some players have expressed that some enemies feel like “bullet sponges”
    • Adding additional ammo throughout the game
    • An option to toggle enemy health bars on/off
    • Making it easier to get 100% game completion
Please stay tuned for more specifics and timing of this update soon! Be sure to follow us @ Wolfenstein on Twitter and Facebook for all the latest news.

Update 1.0.4 Patch Notes (Scheduled for later this week)
    Gameplay
    • Added ability to pause the game in OFFLINE mode only. Although we have tested this feature extensively, if you encounter any issues please let us know by submitting a support ticket to https://help.bethesda.net.
    • Removed the ability to open padlocked doors from the wrong side, as this was causing some issues with mission progression
    • Client players will once again take normal damage from environmental explosions (fire extinguishers, fuel tanks, etc.)
    • Players will now correctly be able to catch friendly and enemy grenades after taking the Grenade God upgrade
    • Client players were having health and ammo fully restored in some circumstances after picking up a heavy weapon
    • Uberhammer projectiles will now explode properly under all conditions
    • Fixed an issue where one player could end up rotated in the wrong direction while interacting with elevator levers
    Art and Graphics
    • Improved the animation when viewing your sister opening Shared Life crates (eliminates teleporting)
    User Interface
    • The Protohund marker for “Destroy the Protohund” and “Collect the Box” missions will no longer appear on the minimap when the mission is not set to active
    • Opening the Journal while activating fast travel now interrupts fast travel. This corrects a variety of issues with loading and UI
    • Fixed a reticle issue that could cause your weapon crosshair in Wolfenstein: Youngblood to appear when playing the “classic” Wolfstone 3D arcade game in the Paris Catacombs
    • Corrected an issue that could cause “Call for Help” to not be available after using a Shared Life. “Call for Help” should now be available if the player is down but their sister is alive
    • Fixed an issue when performing certain actions while opening the in-game options menu that could cause the camera to become permanently tilted
    Audio
    • Fixed a variety of audio issues, including resolving audio dropouts after equipping the flashlight weapon upgrade on the Kugelgewehr
    Online Co-op
    • Fixed a network packet issue that could cause session disconnects when too many explosions occurred in co-op, resulting in players getting dropped from their co-op game
    • Resolved crash that could happen with the Client in a co-op game used Crush, then immediately performed a melee attack on the enemy
    • Fixed the error message players would receive if their Steam Privacy settings were set to Friends Only. Note that your Steam profile must be set to Public in order to view Steam friends through the in-game invite menu
    Miscellaneous Bug Fixes
    • Enemies will no longer float in midair next to the walkways in Lab X
    • The last used weapon was not being properly equipped when the player dropped a heavy weapon
    • Resolved issue where enemies could become stuck floating during the “Lothar and Juju’s trap” mission
    • Changed “Could Not Write Crash Dump” error message to be more descriptive. Crash Dumps are files that contain information relating to a crash; this message would appear any time a crash occurred—which could occur for different reasons—and may have led to confusion that “Could Not Write Crash Dump” was a specific error. As these files tend to be large (~58mb) Crash Dump writing remains off by default. The new message gives explicit instructions on how to turn on Crash Dump writing should you choose to assist in diagnosing the cause of your crash
