I hate you all. 1.8gb so far.
23.7gb download uch:
Will say that is a good speed for ADSL what I used to get until my copper line degraded so much between the exchange and the junction box/Cabinet by my house I dropped from 1.7/1.8MB/s to 0.6MB/s so I'm kind of stuck with BT for my connection in London as they are the only fibre supplier's in my area and I don't want sky or virgin.
I suggest you get on to your service provider and complain right away. When they answer just scream this down the phone...
Actually feel for you man in all seriousness.
now Im ready....................
Hmmm to buy or not to buy.. might wait for some of you guys to post impressions.
Wow, the first two hours of this game was just a prologue and then there's the opening credits! Four hours in and I'm really loving the variety so far. Even the stealth works well and I've only struggled with the first real boss fight against on Medium difficulty. Even the story, which is usually a weak point in any FPS that doesn't have BioShock in its title, is engaging.
What about the infamous AI so far?
I prefer to play it on a large TV and like using a controller.
However, I've also picked up the PC version cheap from GameSeek for £22.75 (it comes on FOUR DVDs) and that also came this morning though obviously I cannot install it yet. I am looking forward to seeing how the games compare. Like RAGE's engine, you can sometimes see the scenery draw in a fraction too late while turning quickly on the PS4 but, don't misunderstand, this is a very minor issue that I just happened to notice a few times. The PC version will likely be free of this entirely given how minimal it is on the PS4 with its much slower hard drive.
Doesn't seem that bad to me on Medium difficulty. Enemies react to seeing you or dead bodies and you cannot stealth kill a soldier in direct sight of another. Yes, there is the odd bizarre behaviour and some enemies make suicide runs at you but there's nothing that damns the game in my opinion. I'm guessing that on Hard and the one above that that the A.I. is considerably more challenging.
The game has some cool gadgets including a
Preload done, unlocks in 5 hours, ****, guess I'll have to start it up only tomorrow, I need my beauty sleep, mein Schönheitsschlaf that is. :eyebrows:
$40 at the link below. I have used them numerous times before. Highly recommended.
Some guy in steam discussions who bought from cdkeyhouse ended up with a German key even though he is in England. Be careful.
Just bought my key from www.cdkeys.com for £21.79! Recieved the key within two minutes, downloading now. Have used this site a few times and have never had a problem. Great price, way better than the extortionate Steam prices.
Got my Doom beta key with it as well...can't wait to play
I can't get any faster than ADSL right now. There's no fibre going into my exchange. The ADSL I have is pretty fast anyway, 1.7mb/s download speed is good, BT actually fitted a new master socket in the house recently and my speed went from 1.2mb/s to 1.7mb/s (download). So I'm happy, it's plenty for 1080p youtube and such, downloading games and films doesn't take that long either. It's just a PITA that Wolf is 40gb. It better be worth it.
Dat download speed
Steam made no mention of it being the German (restricted) version when I registered the key.
yeah... I hate you...
Don't feel bad, i'm only going 3.0mb/s .
I'm psyched. I'm just waiting to get home and play at midnight haha.
About the AI thing, that video was related to a BETA awhile ago. I have to dig up the source..
yeah, that AI vid was irrelevant, from all the footage I've seen the AI is much better than that, that bad AI vid was a troll attempt exploiting a glitch.
