I got a feeling there will be a DLC or expansion.
It's "par for the course".
But in this day and age of computer technology, there really is no excuse for duplicate keys IMO.
I cannot add my Dark Souls Games for Windows Live (disc version) key to my Steam library because it says that the key is in use. When I contacted Valve about it, after much too-ing and fro-ing where they showed they really weren't interesting in helping me, I found that the code has been registered in December 2013, which was months after I'd registered mine with GfWL, and I've only ever had the one Steam account since 2004 so it definitely is not mine. Needless to say, I never got it resolved so the only way I can add Dark Souls to my Steam library is by buying the game again. Duplicate keys should not happen in 2014 unless someone is using a faked/pirated one.
uncompressed ultra textures at 1080 from very beginning of game on plane.
For me, that was the only point in the game where I had to drop settings just to keep 55-60 fps (vsync'd), might be some sort of bug, kinda how Crysis 3 had the swinging rope framerate issue ( though for different reasons of course ) as there are far more (seemingly so) graphically intensive scenes later on of which don't tank my fps like this scene did.
Are you enjoying it so far. Have you had to apply any custom commands settings for texture popin or low fps?
played just a bit then had ti take pc apart for psu arriving in next hour.
be back on pc in couple hours. : )
almost finished with the game.
but have to play it in windows 7.
for some reason when playing in windows 8. I get missing textures. they are invisible. or dont load all the way.
cache checking was fine.
no issues so far, got the console set up and a couple macros with the dof disable and the post process disable but that's it.
hardly even started. got HUD disabled too.
progressed a lil, luckily off till next sat so have plenty of time for this, seeing around 2.8gb usage vram max, still in the trenches ..
mouse feels good.
near 3.7gb now ..
game looks really great.
Are you aware that you can train your skills - i.e. open perks - by repeating some part of level?
I've not figured out how to open up the skills yet, really taking my time with it as i been wanting it for ages
the lean mechanic is very well done, really enjoying game, i don't use aa in games anyways so i'm in heaven.
I finished the game. I got really into it. got pissed at it couple times too. because I would die in stupid ways. started taking rage out on my keyboard and mouse.
I havent done that in a long time. guess it means I like a game enough to get pissed at it.:infinity:
Yeah, first playthrough I have been absorbed, involved quite powerfully. But at second one I started to discover little things in game. As for perks, say there is one that increases number of knives and for that you have to kill some quantity of nazis by throwing the knife. You notice that checkpoint is saved, you crawl and kill any with knife and then reload checkpoint to repeat. Just read description of a perk.
The perk system is automatic.
Each perk will unlock as you natrually perform certain actions. Stealth kills, knife throws... dual wielding weapons... grenade kills...
As you gain kills, or perform specific actions a certain number of times the perk will unlock.
The more you play a certain way, the quicker that Perk tree will unlock.
Also, don't forget to look for the Health and Armor upgrades in each level.
Wolf: TNO is beyond awesome. Easily my favorite game this year, and one of my favorite shooters in a LONG time.
low FPS wih a SLi....
There is no sli or xfire support.
What part are you up to Sli?
I've still not woke up in hospital bed so at the beginnings still.
It's a good long game to, so you've got TONS of stuff to still explore and enjoy.
