It's true. When I saw comparison between hairworks and normal hair I couldn't even say what's what cause it looks good that's why I'm not to worried about it. It might look good but like i said many times before not that good. There's to much of a performance hit to say yes i must have it even on nvidia cards I might turn it down to get better FPS

I do not need special driver. My 3.5 years old GPU runs W3 just fine. After I disabled Hairworks and moved HBAO+ to SSAO.
I have details between High and Ultra. Disabled Blur/Motion Blur/DoF since they suck.
Disabled Sharpening, since it is reason why in-game AA does not work.
Looks better than W2, moves bit worse, but is quite stable.

Mines also running peachy @ 1440p. Similar settings. Hair actually looks good without Hairworks.

    I just want a new driver. :)

They should release a cf driver because right now it's nonexistent, once a nice cf drivers comes out with good scaling I can play nicely with 40-60 fps. :)

I guess I'll wait for a Crossfire profile before playing the game, I've got loads of GTA V missions to do in the mean time. :D

Plays fine here, just don't expect all high and ultra settings and good fps if you don't have 500$+ GPU.

You have a different meaning of "fine" to me :)

well I do high settings on persistent things, and medium on shadows and draw distance of foliage and it plays @ 45fps with v-sync. I think that is fine, not great but fine. I have AA enabled and everything that blurs the image in any way - disabled.

Let's be honest here - Witcher 3 looks and runs better than GTA 5 with similar settings :3eyes:

I find the game jittery and not a smooth experience. I get around 40/50FPS.

well, then you might want to try to rise above your ego (if that is an issue) turn vsync on and limit max fps to 30 and get smooth experience in less fps, see if that works better for you. It's not a racing game... :D

you might also consider that textures on ultra might not be a good idea on a 2GB VRAM card and that VRAM amount (same as mine) can cause problems for smoothness.

Ego? I can't play games at 30FPS it's not smooth to me. Frametimes jump everywhere with my current settings. Turning off AA helped a bit.

So I can play an unoptimized game? I'm good :)
Like I said. My FPS is fine, it's just the frametimes aren't which gives me a poor average.

unoptimized? If this is unoptimized, what is GTA 5, FarCry 4, Crysis 3, Assassins creed black flag or unity, Project Cars...? this is just from top of my head. You are probably having even worse performance in those.

GTA V runs fine. Far Cry 4 didn't run good for a while, it's fine now. Crysis 3 is fine. Assassins Creed Black Flag is fine, Unity isn't. I don't play Project CARS.

well, if I don't drop details and pretty much everything involving resolution size gta is all over the place for me, from 15 to 60 fps. Same with black flag. Far Cry 4 is fine?! I watched Total Biscuit playing it on SLi 780Ti and it was far from fine...

nwm, forget it. I am aware that I have a budget GPU and you should be also.

ok, my bad, still...latest engine, 2015 graphics and it does work on his card fairly well, yet he calls it unoptimized. What is unoptimized is his PC. 7950 goes for like 90-110$ used...he expects smooth experience in latest game on high/ultra settings? That's just insane.
