    I did also try 2x2 + 2ms. Didn't work. Thanks though.

The only way I could get AA with the game is enable it in the config tool. It's either MLAA or Ubersampling there.

Are you saying that 2x2 + 2ms looks and performs better than Ubersampling mode?

    Not better but comparable..

Oh I forgot to mention, when you open nvidia inspector, you need to change AA behavior flags, the default one is: Treat 'Override any application setting' as 'Application-controlled'.
So you need to remove it and leave the field blank.

The AA mode that i use is x8SQ

If you want to use UberSampling use value 1 instead of 2 (user.ini) it will be twice as fast but wont be as strong effect.

Ubersampling=1 have no effect, only 2. What's strange about ubersampling is that both my card's usage drop when ubersampling is chosen instead of rising.
SSAO which is another tremendous performance breaker, when is enabled make gpu usage to go down.

Yes, I tried all that before.

Ubersampling dropped my performance too much which is why I was trying to force custom AA. It just doesn't work.

I think ubersampling is just another word for supersampling anyways. Perhaps Ubersampling=2 equals 2x2SS and Ubersampling=4 equals 4x4SS

If i want to modify user.ini, what user.ini i should modify ? This one The Witcher 2\bin\config

    Or the user.ini located in C:\Users\[name]\Documents\Witcher 2\Config ?

77% is good. And tell me one Game where gpu usage stays at 99%! Never ever.

    @sepulchre

You heard of "edit function" before?

Any game that's using the GPU to its full potential.

If I'm not mistaken Left 4 Dead is one of those games, when Vsync is disabled of course.

Most games use 99% of the gpu in normal conditions. The ones that don't use usualy are cpu limited, like GTA IV for example.

I am getting anywhere from 95-99 percent gpu usage constantly with max settings and ubersampling off at 1920x1080 and 275.27 drivers

Now i get randomly gpu usage, when i start the game.Sometimes i get a stable gpu usage, that means i get a perfect gameplay, without stuttering, frame drops, etc. And sometimes when i wanna play again, i get chaotic gpu usage.

What app do you use to get that gpu info displayed on your screen? I'm using Fraps to monitor my fps but I would like to see some more info than just the FPS I'm getting. I'm not interested in recording my game play or anything, just the gpu usage info.

Try using Afterburner from MSI or try EVGA precision to see gpu data and so forth.

MSI Afterburner, change the settings/monitoring section.

Just out of curiosity what i5 do you have? is it the 600 series or the 700 series. Also is it overclocked?

calin05, you'll get lower gpu-usage if your cpu can't push the data to the videocard fast enough. Some games are too cpu-intensive, particularly those which are console ports.

You'll notice angmar has an i5 cpu also but he overclocked his to 4.4GHz and that's probably why his gpu-usage is better than yours.

Thanks for the info. When setting this up in MSI Afterburner, it says that if I enable these features, it will establish some kind of server and that it will be using some of my cpu/gpu resources. How much resources do these (only monitoring the gpu's heat levels, usage and fps) use? Which uses more resources, Fraps or this?
