Windows XP good for gaming?

Anyone have any info on if Windows XP will be good for gaming? Is it better than Windows 2000? <IMG SRC="smileys/eek.gif">

 

I had np with playing games on XP apart from C/S. However that was Video card related.

 

SOMEONE tell me why Electronic Arts games dont work under Win2k???<br>

that's the reason I don't use 2K anymore, cuz EA didn't program for it.

XP has weird mouse acceleration problems in C/S and other Q2 engine based games. I am sure you can find a 1000 references to the same problem. Impossible to aim, period. <IMG SRC="smileys/puke.gif">
