this is taking for ever... and the security keep popping lol can't it just keep installing without me clicking on "continue"? I have to finish laundry...
Overall build number shows build 6000. No mention of a SP install but I reckon that's because these were not installed via a unified installer like the way XP and 2003 does it. The next update probably will be install the "normal way". System seems OK so far. Gonna test BF2142 online for a bit with my mate and see if the old issues I had are resolved. I noticed Powershell 1.0 installed. Movie maker was in Russian but I'm sure I have a seen an English update before so this can be resolved.
Only cure - disable the UAC. Although I have it enabled here, and it's driving me crazy too @koolkxp, That's exactly what I was thinking. Forget that version number, people.. just test and give some feedback. If my system will run better after this - then I actually don't give a **** about that version number, lol
alright alright i'll forget the vrs. number. FORGOTTEN! . . . just doubting this auth. of the product. ya please where did you get this information, please enlighten us.
Wow, i knew the souls of you will be interested of seeing living SP1, but every 30 seconds a new post generates here, so i think that Vista does make an impact.
Very useful :bang: On every forum they say beta is coming in oktober/november 2007. Please post a URL
the subscriber SP1 installer, is it the same we are currently knocking our self with or a direct one?
When you speak from "suscriber Sp1 Installer", what do you mean ? beta isn't out and this one here is problaby not the real one
^_o what is it that i am installing here then? lol subscriber i am talking about the one 'supposedly' that is in Microsoft secret msdn page.
Really looking forward to this one, the final release though. That should be a real blast EDIT: Had a few BSOD's during install..I'm still playing with my CPU OC, trying to get it higher..so that's the real cause, don't worry. Good thing that the installer doesn't install the updates over the installed ones, it just skips them. Although I'm really tired of those UAC messages...
