i recently built a new computer and decided to move my old HD over to allow for some extra space. the new HD is labeled C and contains WinXPsp2 as does the old HD labeled F, but F is no longer running the OS -my question is it safe to delete the Windows folder and all files contained within on my old drive F?
Yes if your sure that the new C: really is the first primary hard disk (boot disk) and that the old hard disk do not contain any files used. You might test it by disabling it in the BIOS, if you still can boot it's not used (for the boot at least).
