HAs anyone made a virtual cd-rom drive program work on windows 7? If so, what program are you using?

xan k: so far i haven't found a single device driver for anything i have that doesn't work. Just need to use Vista 32-bit drivers. NVidia drivers install fine. Logitech installs fine. Auzentech installs fine....

OK installed 7 as my main OS and cant be happier EXCEPT IE is always crashing. I like the layout of IE but I think im gonna have to use firefox till they iron out the kinks.

Ok, i tryed to perform some tests like Vantage and Fraps but apperently i have a HD issue, seems i hit a bad sector when i install more programs now.
I installed 7 on a very old WD raptor that had many users before me. So first i need another drive, sinds i have vista on two SSD' s with all the games music etc i dont want to format these. (yet):)
BTW no problems here with IE.

Been running W7 for a while now as a primary OS. Dual booting on my ACER ASPIRE ONE, Intel ATOM 270 w/ 1GB RAM 160GB HD, installed in 20 minutes! Runs way better than XP or VISTA! Finally getting to know my way around the new OS, not that is too different. Love the newish look, (a polished vista!) and customizations that are part of the OS. Really nice that you can install W7 and everything just WORKS!!! Obviously you can install just about any Vista approved driver or program if wanted or needed! Very nice to finally see something in it's early alpha-beta stages that really works SO well! Just my 2 cents!

    PEACE P-MAN:)

3DM Vantage doesn't work. It stops loading on the first (Jane Nash) screen
and stays there for an hour with the loadingbar doing nothing.
Someone else getting problems running 3DM Vantage?
I hope its a OS vs driver issue so it might be fixed very soon
BTW it was not my HD, i installed another WD raptor and same problem:)
Its not my favorite program and i dont give a alot about benchmark stuf acually, but it would have been nice it worked right away like any other program or game i tryed:) Great OS
