come on people, you really think this is about ie? everything is more expensive in europe than in the us because if something costs $200 in the us, its sold for €200 in europe, regardless of the exchange rates.

They produce different disks for DIFFERENT COUNTRIES. South Korea, North Korea, China, etc all have a different disk sold in their country.

Wow the Economy is ****ty as it is in the us and Microsoft still charging arm and leg for OS and EU get even more of a shaft, This why people Pirate Microsoft OS

if full version ultimate was 219$ i would bought it but not for 319$ only reason i want Win7 is for 64bit OS and use of more then 4gb ram nothing more

49 USD or 49 Euros for the pre-order of Windows 7 Home Premium isn't exactly expensive - I would think.

You don't NEED Windows7 Ultimate for 64bit support. There are 64bit variants of every Windows7 version being released.

Posting facts makes a bigger impression than posting bull**** like this. If it caused problems 70% of the time....1 of my upgrades would have had problems. I've used 98Upgrade, ME Upgrade, XP Upgrade and Vista Upgrade....all 100% problem free. On my own, I just blew out your bull**** 70% figure...

I do why, would some one buy upgrade when they is one times thing? Why install one os just to install another? when you have format system. its the same data on ever disc/dvd its the stupid keys the dictate what is verisons are installed,

Microsoft is charge more for the KEYS not the disc version cause there all the same

why so i can 49$ for the exact same disc ultimate is? only not be able to use the the stuff on ultimate cause of a KEY?

is that why people come to these forums when upgrades from one OS to Another cause problems? And people recommend they just Format and Do full install instead of Upgrade? just cause you dont have em dont mean others don't.

Every time i never upgrade from one os to another something went wrong 95,98, XP all of them not mention fact a clean install of OS runs faster then upgrade to another, which why i don't TOUCH UPGRADES
