Since Windows 10 LTSB was giving me trouble recently (updating my drivers automatically without asking, even while restricting this) I was forced to go back to Windows 8.1. Before I did, I did a few benchmarks and compared with Windows 8.1 after its installation. Found that I was getting slightly better performance under 8.1, so no tears here.

Change the furnace for PC you have there. No proper user or PCMR gamer should use anything else than Windows 10. The OS meant for everyone and everything.

I'm not quite sure what you want to tell me here and if you're being serious or not.

What you mean to say is it's the OS Microsoft want on everyone's computers because of reasons.

Hi @ all well after think a lot of time I decided downgrade to W 8.1 PRO I make this because I'm tired of tweak O.S. here and there so I think that W 8.1 works fine although don't have none new features since 2014 all my games run fine still I have one extra bonus I use Aeroglass (modified) that works like a charm only my 2 cents ;)

Lol ... for MS new features after an OS release generally meant new versions of IE. Nowadays, I don't even want new features going by their output :p 8.1 is much better than 10's current branch.

I installed windows 7 along side windows 10.
its like night and day on my machine with it. windows 7 responds and runs things way faster then a fresh installed window 10.

another plus is that my monitor color and icm profile works correctly unlike windows 10.

I used to think that until I tried Ghost Recon Wildlands on Win 8.1: an abysmal 15-20fps difference to Windows 10.

Win 8.1 does feels better overall, though. Gives a real OS feeling, not like an ongoing science project like Windows 10.

Been on LTSC last couple days, its a keeper. I kept thinking of W7 while on it. Happy camper for now... until it shows its age in a year or so. Nobody wants the same old, same old forever. :D
