This seems insane to me but why would MS say that you couldn't upgrade your beta version to the final release version when you bought it? This just makes no sense to me. The way I understand it you have to do a clean install when you buy the final release? When I had Vista RC1 I was able to buy the final vista and do an upgrade over it so why won't I be able to with Windows 7?

Firstly, I don't believe that anyone is supposed to purchase a beta.....if you did, it's not official. Secondly, when the final is out there shouldn't be a reason why you can't upgrade a current Windows 7 beta installation to the final version.

    Thirdly.....Windows 7 rocks. :)
