Downloading now. Have fun.
That's still two and a half more months for us other mortals without a technet subscription.
Dang too bad that Free technet subscription from a couple of months ago doesn't work lol.
I think they did that on purpose =P.
I wish that my MSDNAA would get Win 7 early. Oh well, it's not like Server 2008 is giving me any problems. Even if I do migrate to NT 6.1 it'll be Server 2008 R2*, I'd rather get Server 2008 R2 ... so much faster than Win 7.
It is also on MSDN.
Thank friggin god, my copy expires like next week and I needed a legit key :S
MSDNAA and MSDN is a lil' different the way it's processed.
MSDNAA is provided by the colleges/universities that you go to. Microsoft only issues the licenses. So if the colleges/universities don't receive the MSDNAA licenses from Microsoft yet, they won't be adding them onto their lists yet. Maybe in like a month or two (the earliest) it'll pop up on my college download server.
Now you can tell us if 7600.16385 is truly the final RTM build
..it was already confirmed by Steven Sinofsky, I mean it would be nice to get a confirmation from someone like the President of the Windows Division at Microsoft.. come to think of it thats actually his title! :infinity:
can someone post the hash sums for MSDN release, tnx
Which version? There's a bunch.
You can get all the details here:
You can't actually download without a subscription but you can check the details for each verision.
Here's an example:
File Name: en_windows_7_ultimate_x64_dvd_x15-65922.iso
Date Posted (UTC): 8/6/2009 9:59:54 AM
Might be that long before I get it downloaded. The servers are getting hammered.
Downloading also, will install tomorrow, technet is a great deal, when Office 2010 comes out it will be there also.
Windowsteamblog has MSDNAA being released on 14 Aug.
Well in about 2mins someone with technet/MSDN will put the windows 7 iso on torrent no doubt.
^^It's been there for a while Just not the technet one.
Guess this invalidates my Release Candidate key? D:
I downloaded the key and RC ages ago and intended to dual boot it, but the unavailability for the storage drive I wanted ended up causing me to never use it ._.
Is OneCare already compatible with Windows 7?
thanks a lot, that was the one i need
not in my action pack downloads yet boo hoo
but it should be about aug 16 th yayyy
