This change regarding the notification icons is retarded. Why lock the icons? MS should just make it so when you're booting windows for the first time, the system detects that you're using a tablet and changes the UI for you. I'm really sick of all this hybrid stuff, specially since tablet users are a very tiny minority of the userbase.

Has there been any news about when Microsoft will be putting back the ability to move icons again in the taskbar like nearly every previous version of Windows?
I am aware, this is the reason I reverted to 10 and asking this question here... I am wondering if Microsoft will be putting effort into Windows 11 by making it usable again.

Build 22610 for Beta and Dev Channel. (29 April 2022) Main Changes, Fixed and Issue. Main Changes - Task Manager the Processes page in Task Manager now shows colors based on your accent color. Main Fixed - Using the rename, copy, paste, delete, and other options context menu options in File Explorer or on the desktop should no longer cause explorer.exe to crash when the context menu dismisses. Main Issue - The “Show hidden icons” flyout in the system tray may disappear completely for some Insiders, even though it shows as “on” under Settings > Personalization > Taskbar and “Other system tray icons”.

Finally. Thankfully they realized how dumb that was. Now they just gotta stop acting like if tablet users are like 90% of the userbase.
