Windows 11 Insider Builds

I can not access the "Default Apps" section of the Apps section. The window appears, attempts to load and the Window just closes.. SFC/DISM/Reset the settings app. Nothing..

 

Welp. After my settings app decided to go full jumping off a cliff and multiple options resulting in the settings app just crashing. I decided to put my Insider Preview career, and OS installation to rest.

Credit where it's due. This Windows installation lasted perfect far longer than I expected. I never clean installed Windows 11. I'm a one of the lone survivors of the Windows 10 - 11 upgrade.

I pulled the plug.. Downloaded the Windows 11 Media Creation tool.. Formatted and clean installed. The stable builds are good enough at this point..

Now with Dark Themes support and better search function.

HDR became too dark with the latest developer version.

Update 15 Dec 2021.

• More integration from Control Panel to Settings.
• New Installed apps and now uninstall apps will direct open Settings > Apps > Installed Apps when you clicking Uninstall a program at Control Panel.
• Uninstall updates direct open Settings Windows Update > Update history > Uninstall updates instead from Control Panel.

samsung 970 evo nvme not the plus with driver 3.3

 

Does anyone know if the latest insider works any better with the Quest 2? I'm on the release build and that's the only thing making me want to revert back to windows 10.
