I've been running it for a few weeks now because I realized I wasn't about to reformat again later on. Haven't had any issues.
Mine is definitely stable, be it gaming on old or new games, watching TV shows and as a Plex server. Can't say I have had any bugs, either I've been lucky or just use my PC differently.
I upgraded to windows 10 from a windows 7 install that was made in January. and it still running smooth.
It's a funny situation isn't it.. being forced to pirate windows just to remove unwanted features. And the funny thing is I don't see anything wrong with it.
Well i got a boost performance in games like Watch Dogs and Batman Arkham knight (I can play Watch Dogs with Ultra Textures and 2gb of vram with 0 stutter). Navigation, videos, etc, its the same. But i do really appreciate something: I don't have that weird bug of "Desktop Windows Mananger high cpu usage".
Been 100% solid for me for everything I've used it for. only issue was the flickering / artifacting screen on the desktop at first
I'm running the latest Insider build on my laptop. The only issue I have encountered so far is my track pad keeps flaking out. I have to use a mouse for now until it's fixed. HP says they are aware of the problem and are working with MS to fix it.
Same here, no issues on my PC (insider) or the wife's laptop (retail) What is the laptop, might specific hardware that the OS doesn't like.
Does the Reset/refresh feature make a .old folder like installing Windows from media or put them back where they were in the reset install? Just curious. Hmm .. the October update is now coming in November.
They haven't shared much yet. You can expect more features for edge, cortana enhancements, poorer privacy policy P), better stability, and UI tweaks. Follow the insider builds if you're interested.
Well looks like I'll have to refresh windows, I just can't get this god damn modern start normal icons back.. upload a picture Or working modern photo apps.. But yeah.. not really in the mood to reinstall few particular games (lots of updates), all drivers, programs and rearrange all those desktop shortcuts :infinity: :infinity:c1::bang: lol
Same here. I can confirm that Games that use more than 2gb run really smooth even up to 4gb usage, as long as i keep settings that don't stress 99% of my gpu. I also don't have the bug of "Desktop Windows Mananger high cpu usage" Generally Windows 10 is running very smooth with no bugs. NOTE: I use a local account and don't use any Metro apps atm. Don't need them.
I can't seem to install the new preview insider build, it says i have to restart to install but it doesn't install at all. Tried deleting all update files but it doesn't do a single thing.
