I noticed that my CPU is running at max speed all the time in the virtual machine, is this normal? Also, the min and max cpu states are missing in the power options of Win10.

 

So.. anyone did a benchy or something to put it against 8.1 or 7?

And I'm running a custom "Balanced" power profile on Windows 8.1 (In 10, it's at maximum performace) which, as you can see, parks physical and logical cores depending the usage so, what you say should be even more noticeable. (I use is as a power savers. LOVE IT)

 

I will do some when i get home from work today.

 

Am I the only one bothered by Microsoft pushing the "app" naming for everything everywhere?
Edit: Oh, I need to change my rig, finally.

 

Haven't really stressed it out with much, but seems pretty stable - start menu is a bit flakey on keeping up with system theme changes, doesn't always match the colour, but for actual system stability it hasn't crashed or bugged out so far, and could be due to a fresh install, but even on a pretty old IDE machine, it feels faster than my main machines 8.1, at least for normal OS use, not done much else with it yet

 

I'll never understand why microsoft never prereleases the spanish version.

So this Spanish guy posted benchmark results of Shadow of Mordor, Win 8.1 vs 10Pr

Windows 8.1
Average: 65
MAX: 308
MIN: 22

Windows 10Pr
Average: 107
MAX: 326
MIN: 43

Minimum frame rate DOUBLED and average got 42 FPS higher

And all this on unfinished OS with Unoptimized drivers.

P.S.Waiting for some serious multigame benchmarks from trusted sources to verify this...

 

There were people saying their DOTA 2 FPS increased by 20% too. I dunno I have a hard time believing it.

 

Just did a small test with arma 3 on both 8.1 and 10
Pretty much no gain or loss.

Someone on MDL claimed to have found a DX12 file in dxdiag yesterday

 

Start bugy in virtual box
Loved the desktop's feature like mac

 

Nvidia latest drivers works
Programs like steam,msi afterburner works
games like shadow of mordor and crysis works
all this without problems

still when i start searching something in start menu the right side of it disappear(where are the metro apps) and i can't drag and drop things there(still can with "pin to start" option).And sometimes when i start searching in start menu the start menu just fade.
