dying light is definitely faster with these in Win10
BF4 runs better in win10 and this driver. At least 10fps with my gtx 980
Any direct download for 349? I haven't gotten anything through windows update. Also, is DSR actually busted for it? Works fine for me on 347.
No dx12 apps jet and people try dx12? Lol
anyone with 347.71 driver can post a screenshot of techpower gpu-z
thanks, but is with windows 8 64bit or wind 10 tp 64bit ? thanks
W10 tp 64bit, of course.
Wouldn't the upgrade to WDDM 2.0 itself bring performance improvements?
WDDM 2.0 has less performance than WDDM 1.3.
cause its not optimized yet...
probably take a year or two before it optimized.
just like windows 8.0 and 8.1
and there will be gpus that wont never get 2.0 drivers. just like windows 8.1 did to some people on dells....
With Windows 10 being a free upgrade for all Win7 users, I wonder how it'll be for users with old cards. AMD doesn't even have official Win 8.1 support for its DX10 cards.
I'd bet many "normal" Windows 7 users still have DX9 cards, especially those who recently upgraded from XP.
So far I'm pretty happy with 349.65, can't wait for the 349.72 drivers.
Here is the info I've collected so far:
+Dragon Age: Inquisition 70-90fps w/ dips into the 60's during combat (settings maxed No MSAA)
+Castlevania LOS2 70-80fps w/ dips into high 60's w/HBAO+ quality (settings maxed)
+Borderlands 2 120+ fps (settings maxed)
+Castle of Illusion 60fps w/HBAO+ quality (settings maxed)
+Slightly cooler temps under full load
- Monitor 1 defaults to 1600x1050 when swapping monitor 1 and 2
- Task bar doubles on monitor 1 when swapping displays
- Serious performance drop when alt-tabbing out of games
- Dark Souls 2 black screens at random during loading screens
- Dark Souls 2 BSOD while loading save game (only once)
- Dark Souls PTD will not launch (dsfix or not)
- Ryse Son of Rome averages between 24-28fps regarding of settings @1920x1080p
Can anyone on Windows 10 and latest drivers confirm if DPI per monitor is possible? Like 1st monitor 100% DPI and second one 200%?
I read a while ago that this is finally possible in Windows 10.
edit:nvm, I found it that it's possible in 8.1, the 10 features are probably enhancements.
seems nvidia doesnt want to give us the damn 349 build for win8.
Or any driver atm.
They just launched the Titan X today, so we gotta have something soon. Just hope it's not gonna be a Titan X-clusive driver.
Well I'm with window 10 but i got no 349 driver in the update section.
I never could get 349.65 through WU unless I clean installed 9926 with no drivers, then it was installed automatically on both a 970 and 860m.
Windows 10 tp build 10041
Nvidia 349.90 driver
