Windows 10 [20H1] Build 18917

My DPC went down like crazy low after disabling Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery on 1903.

 

laptop specific? I dont see this in device manager..



Anyway, I was also missing that "PowerThrottle" value in regedit, so I made one and also disabled it in gpedit.

 

this device is present on laptops and systems with monitored UPS systems connected.

 

Can anyone confirm this might be a viable fix?

 

I disabled that power throttle and it gave me 3-7fps less in destiny2.. on nessus by one ship I use to get 60-64fps now it dropped to mid 55ish fps.

Deleted it for now, will see today what's up again.
