They still haven't said wtf that gaming technology even is!
im aware it all about the money, its the main reason MS does what does and why MS can get away with what does in PC side things, they monolpized the PC sector almost everything runs windows, majority of people might like what they doing on there OS but do to being 90% windows there is no choice for most people to just take it
xbox and pc will be more compatible i guess
Everything gets ported over anyway, who cares.
I see these threads are still pretty much Groundhog Day.
Anyway, this build working fine for me. I've not run benchmarks, but no gaming issues or video playback problems with Kodi, Mediaportal or MadVR.
Then there's little reason to even use Windows 10 as all other software will run in Windows 7.
Well, there's maybe a couple of games which benefit from D3D12 - more so if you're an AMD GPU owner. But that's it.
I guess I like win 10 for most part more then win7 I just dont like the endless beta state is has
You and everyone else will be once DCH is mandatory for drivers.
All they have to do is bundle the appx files with the driver's installation and they can auto update or invoke an installation via powershell. Realtek's UAD is already like this. The store isn't even necessary for app updates in my LTSC installation. I have their hevc, webp, webm, and the uwp redists installed and they update just fine via WU instead. Same goes for apps like weather and snip & sketch when I had them installed.
