Hi guys Running Win7 64 Ultimate X-Fi ExtremeMusic SB0460 (June .0013 Drivers) Help I need to get "what you hear" running to record in-game sounds Willing to do ANYTHING to avoid having to go back to XP Need Guru help BAD!!@!! Anyone got it working? How?
Unfortunately, from experience.....even with the modded Creative drivers, what-u-hear doesn't work (properly, if at all). For example, my bro has an Audugy 2 ZS and what-u-hear, in W7, makes a high pitched noise...and that's it. Hopefully someone knows how to get it working. r2rX
This is utterly ridiculous tbh. Can we go any further backwards? I just went to record some audio and no "what you hear", so consequently, no way to record my PC audio. I had "what u hear" before but it has removed itself and refuses to come back despite the fact I've reinstalled the drivers several times. Audio support has really suffered with Vista/Win 7. I'd really like to see some of these ongoing issues sorted. AudioDG still leaks (from time to time) among other things. Eth *EDIT* Well what do you know? After reinstalling the drivers 6 or 7 times, it finally returned and is working.
I'm on W7 and it works with my Audigy SE + old drivers. I think creative disabled it on the newer drivers for some stupid reason. :I
