Hi

i havea problem where doing a reset from within WIN2K and then dual booting
into 98 ... when starting 98 .. it hangs on boot ... if i power off the pc
from WIN2K instead of the reboot .. then power back on .. win98 works fine.

bottom line is cold boot woks and warm boot does not ..

is there a registry setting in WIN2K i can make to

a.) completely clear the pagefiles .. incase something is still in memory

b.) perform the equivalent of a cold boot .. so nothing is in memory and
hence 98 will boot ok ??

thanks in advance for anyones help

regards

can you give a detailed description of your system?
I think it's a driver problem

    thanks for your help

i brought a new mouse and GPX card .. installed the latest drivers and the problem has now dissapeared

not sure which .. but obviously a driver issue.
