Win10 ver 1809, can i still use the 39x.xx nvidia drivers?

I may not understand this 100% but new win10 1809 uses a new wdm i think and the latest nvidia drivers support this, but im having many stuttering issues in fc5 using these latest drivers and am wanting to go back to the 39x.xx drivers... Can i still do that? what kind of negatives might happen? Thanks

I don't think anyone really knows yet. I didn't see any difference. I tried using them on 1809 when I was on a 1080ti.

Guys, what You think, is it better to sit with 3xx line with maxwell architecture card, or update drivers every time new version comes in?

 

I think it's best if you test on your own system with your own mix of hardware and software.

 

Only update when vulnerability fixes are released or when you are having problems that might be caused by outdated drivers.

 

IMO, Update I have not seen any negative regression doing so overall.
If you play all older games, then I guess it's not too important but it only takes a few mins to install.
