Will this M.2 1TB 2280 SSD work with my current motherboard?

    I don't see why not.
    However, some boards have a QVL list for NVMe drives, so there is that.

    All I know is what it says on the ASUS website and system information right now.

    1 x M.2 Socket 3, , with M Key, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 storage devices support (Support PCIE SSD only)

    I suppose that you have the latest BIOS for your motherboard.
    Just to plug the drive in, and see if the motherboard detects it. First check into the BIOS if it is recognised properly.

    That's a pretty inexpensive SSD. I would look at buying a heatsink for that Phison as well.
