I am looking to drop in a pair of Nvidia GTX770 in SLI and was wondering if they would be bottle necked by an i7 970 at 3.2GHz? I am running 12G of RAM @ 1500Mhz. Ive been out of the game so long and I feel old ;(

If you're getting them SLI make sure you're getting 4GB ones.. but that already falls almost in the 290 price range.. so either I would wait for the custom 290s to come out or get a few 280X's with 3GB of vram.

Just so that when you're SLI'ing you're not getting anything below 3GB of vram.

And can you oc that cpu? That still packs a punch if OCed I'm sure.

You have a rampage formula you need to o/c that CPU you madman.

THEN you are on a winner and I strongly advise 280x Crossfire ESPECIALLY if your playing BF4.

You will need 3GB+ VRAM though.

Buy a single strong card for a stock cpu.
