+1 , loved thoes tanks :nerd:. I always camped near a cannon with my Mosin Nagant or Mauser K98k! Great rifles btw...
Not necessarily, there are a few big map servers still about. Best CoD/UO map(s)? I personally like Rhinevalley, Foy and Ponyri.
Cod1 and its expansion,United Offensive, the rest of them suck and BF2 beats all of them nvm BF3,i aint played a Cod game since Cod2 which was ok,but like i said BF2 beats all.
I've never even touched a COD game and I pride myself on that. Back in the PS2 era I looked at the back of the box and the game just looked like some Team America-esque garbage, low and behold the tradition remains unchanged to this day. Cookie cutter 'everyone is evil but America' military shooters. I hate the series with a passion.
Lol, a bit like Black Ops then? Bad Company 2 is also the same... Most newer games are like that. You get shot the fukc up, screen goes all red. You hide begind a wall for a few seconds, screen is back to normal & you continue the firefight...
BlackOps graphics with original COD1 maps & gameplay, no perks, no super-soldier-health-restore-i-will-survive. That would be a COD game i would like to play.
I loved Modern Warfare 2. I like the whole "US Under Attack" theme. I bought the Prestige Edition, the Night Vision goggles and steel-book were great. I never tried the Multi-Player...
1. If you have never played any of them and are proud of that fact, then why bother posting in this thread? 2. Have you ever heard of that old saying, "Never judge a book by it's cover." before? 3. IF you would have actually played any of the CoD games you would have known that it's not only about American soldiers because you play as several other world militarily factions including British, Soviet Union, etc. and in fact some of the final single player campaigns end with you playing as a Soviet soldier and saving the day. Team America-esque garbage my ass. Perhaps you should check out some history books.
Too bad the poll is closed. The answer, IMO, is the original. I still remember seeing the trailer for the first COD... With MOH firmly in control of the WWII shooter genre, it almost seemed like COD was unnecessary; how could they possibly top the MOH games, let alone compete in the same genre? It'd all been done before, right? Wrong. COD took everything that MOH did and made it even more cinematic, even more exciting. No, it wasn't *new*, but COD perfected the formula. COD 2 was kinda disappointing IMHO. The graphics were amazing, sure, but the environments and scale seemed a little smaller.
For me, it's hard to say this but probably Modern Warfare 2. Modern Warfare was great, but I find myself playing MW2 more. The first COD was okay, COD2 I played a lot for the single player. Didn't touch COD3. MW I bought on my xbox, then bought on PC for the mods, WaW I tried the beta but didn't think it was all that great. MW2 really pushed me to play COD more! And Black Ops is basically the same as WaW, just different time frame.
COD 4 by far for me. It got me into competitive multiplayer. I only play Black Ops on xbox now as I got sick of only seeing nuketown servers. Still fire up MW2 occasionally.
The first 2 I guess? Tho they never really topped my fps lists every year, I almost always end up playing them all. What I'll never understand is where all that MTVish hype since MW comes from.
