I have noticed alot around various forums on the internet people do this alot. When comparing chips be it gpu/cpu they only look at direct specs of the chip.Like someone comparing a Pentium D to anything in the core 2 duo line, someone said they have similar specs they should perform the same lol.The same goes for gpu comparisons like comparing RV5XX,RV6XX,RV7XX.Even though the clock speeds and ram my be similar the architecture is much different and has to be considered. Was just thinkin of this and decided to post it:bang:

because considering architecture details and efficiency is something too abstract for a lot of people(including me i have to say) to fully understand. its easier to focus on things you do understand when you have to explain something.

I agree. Remember the 2900XT hype.
