Problem of the game is the frame skipping that's present on certain areas, where gpu usage drops a lot.
Imagine having 60 fps and suddently you drop into 30's and go up again. That happens frequently in the game.
So, having a card that give 30 -40 in average means that sometimes performance drop into high 10's.

Ok I can agree with that. Also I have read the game plays better at higher clock speeds of the CPU and with quad cores. So I should be fine with this.
Also Patch 1.1 resolved 3dvision issues.

The configurator is serioulsy bugged. No matter what settings I select [even the lowest] the same seems to stay around 35 FPS for me.
I expect they will release a new patch soon .

A guy over in the NVidia forums who has a 8800 GeForce card was saying his NVidia Updater just brought in a driver update and he showed a screenshot of it and the new driver the updater brought in is 275.36.

    http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=201821&st=260&gopid=1248493&

EDIT: no, scratch that. I misinterpretted, had it wrong. Been busy here trying to find my dog. Anyway that user had manually updated his driver to the 275.36 and he says it fixed the issue with Duke Nukem Forever demo.

May how are you reaching 45 with those settings
Even after disabling SSAO and AA I cannot reach 45.
My FPS averages around 30 drops to 21 some times .
are you using some differnt settings in the control panel.
I tried changing the prerendered frames .it was of no use.

Although performance is better, Dirt 2 and 3 started crashing, even some weird artifacts in D2... other than that, great drivers.

Okay was playing the strating level of shooting the tower with ballista again and again so it was low.
Later I was getting around 55 FPS with testure set to medium.
So I am fine with the performance now. It averages around 30.
One thing I can assure is that the Game plays smooth even at such lOW FPS.

I have never really bothered trying out 3Dmark11 since it has been "broken" on SLi setup for quite a while. But today I gave up on my old trusty Forceware 263,14 drivers and installed the new Forceware 275,33 and then downloaded 3Dmark11 to see what that benchmarks all about.

I run it through and got this result = P11995 3DMarks
    http://3dmark.com/3dm11/1364536
I don't know if thats good or bad since I know 0 about this benchmarks "performance range".

In Unigne Heaven DX 11 benchmark 1920x1200 8xFSAA, 16xAF, Extreme Tessellation I get 79.5FPS with these. The 263,14 gave med 77,1FPS.
    I have no OC.

Sofar this driver seems good to my system. The last one I tried 266,58 just made my windows 7 go all laggy and unuseable, so I went back to 263,14.
So I was a little anxious when installing 275,33 if I should experience the same problem, but luckily not  it all runs just fine sofar :nerd:

You got 3 way SLI and a Non-OCed CPU, something tells me that's not working as it should.

I don't OC and I'm not looking for breaking records, I prefer playing safe :)
I've run 3-way-SLi for a couple of years now with non-OC and I haven't had problems maxing out the GFX's.:)

Regarding the weapon issues in Crysis 2 and shadow problem in Dragon Age 2, Nvidia informed me that a beta 280.xx driver will be released mid July to fix those problems.
