So, after those month the Game is out now and the new drivers which all came up afterwards - i think we can say now that it's never gonna be fixed ;)

New bug found with this drivers in SHOGUN 2 when SLI is active. Everything is normal without SLI.
    Here's some pictures.

Must be a PC Configuration Issue then, because it doesn't crash for me. And yes, i play it in DX11 mode.

nope more like some kind of software conflict, or that worker thread xml or GFWL.

i have those crashes too, before with my old 250gts i played the whole Dirt2 without crashing but now in dx11 pos crashes randomly usually after 3-5 maps, sometimes longer sometimes sooner, vista no sp compatibility mode helped the most.

see for yourself its not so rare

Gonna run some test later, but as far as I read looks like some good drivers.

I have the same issue as Paulo in Shogun2. Also Crysis2 weapon graphic glitch and bad shimmer is back again with these drivers.

I guess for once i'm lucky to be on the other side that doesn't have issues ^^

Infact, i do have an issue. :p Wich is input lag with my Wireless Xbox 360 Controller. There is like 500 ms delay on the Throttle and Brake. And it's not because it's wireless because other games don't got it. Tried the possible fixes but didn't help it has something to do with the game.

Metro 2033 benchmark is down about 6% with 275.27 vs 275.33. Don't have any other benchmarks to test with.

Ok I just started playing witcher 2 today with this driver set . Was running short of space for a long time so could not install.

I Get an avg of 25-30 FPS with 1920*1080 with settings set to high.
Can some one please comment on this performance if it is okay .
I also have 3d vision installed on the system.

first uninstall 3dvision, to completely eliminate this issue if it still exists.

Then disable ubersampling, ssao or AA (you will have to sacrifice one of these two) and it should be better.. also you might want to force AF in nvcpl witcher profile for sharper filtering.

Something doesnt add up,probably youre running the game with ubersampling?
If yes then use the ultra preset but disable ubersampling and vsync.
Also unistall 3dvision or simply disable the service.
    Im getting similar performance on my laptop (x9000 @ 3,6ghz / 9800m gtx Sli 2048mb) with ultra @ 1920x1200p (no ubersampling/vsync).
So as a machine hugely inferior to yours, you should have at least 35-40fps.
On my desktop im doing an average of 55fps with a single gtx570 @ 1080p with above settings.
So i guess that in comparison an overclocked gtx460 should achieve at last 40fps.

Well, for me this is the worst driver I ever installed since I have my pc.

Here's a short list of the issues that affects me.

Crysis 2 weapon is not rendered properly in some chapters like "Seat of Power".

Dragon Age 2 shows whats seems shadow problems when very high settings are used.

Forced Ambient Occlusion through the driver is not scaling properly with sli, so performance is half of what should be.

Shogun 2 shows the issues above.

Slower performance in BFBC2 (tested in "Sangre del Toro" level)

270.61 present none of this issues

Goods things I've noticed about this drivers:

Performance improvement in Crysis 2 and Batman Arkham Asylum

And one note. If you installed this driver to improve performance in Witcher 2, think again, 270.61 performs exactly the same with a little less stuttering.

    @Hunter and @Kingpin
    Thanks for your reply.
I tested the game late night in a hurry so i didnot look into the ubersampling option.
Secondly When I used the ULTRA preset I was getting around 15 FPS .
I suppose in either case Ubersampling was turned on. Basically I did not touch the advanced options.
I will probably try disabling SSAO and ubersampling first and if that does not work I will try uninstalling 3D vision [ I really need it for Blazing Angels 2 with my discover glasses :)]

Also when I tried with a lower resolution of 1680*1050 I had black borders around my screen not sure why .Any of you seen this .

    @Hunter
The Dirt Update seemed to fix my CTD issue. Can you check if it works for you.

you'll only need to disable the ubersampling and AA option, dont disable ssao. turn the v-sync off aswell.

Uninstalling the 3D vision din't help.
I am playing at 30-35 now with ULTRA and no ubersampling.

That should be a pretty reasonable framerate.
You need to consider that youre using an entry level high performance card like GTX460, which is the first Fermi core, but old gen.
Also, you're gaming at 1080p at ultra.
In total i hardly would expect higher framerates, as im doing 50-55fps of average with my gtx570 @ 850/1700/2100...and as you know the gtx570 is even more powered than the old gtx480.
The 15-20 fps gap seems reasonable.
