    Hello Guys

Does anyone have anything to report with regards to AC4 and CFX performance?
How does it run? Any issues?

    Thanks in advance guys :)

only issue i have is VSYNC with it enabled or disabled does not seem to work.
also i would advise using radeon pro and locking frames to 30fps and then maxing out the game, looks great and plays very smooth ;)

and crossfire works fine 7950s here.

I don't think there is an AC4 profile.

Mine runs without the CFX, haven't tried enabling the option to use CFX without a profile.

Performance ranges from 40 to 60 fps with everything on high with 2XMSAA 1080P.

crossfire works if you force it in CCC with AFR Friendly option, have to lower some options at 2560x1440 because it seems the game is not that well optimized, even if I lower the resolution I have the same fps so it seems like a bad cpu usage like one core at 100% while the others are at 10%~

I've forced crossfire and I still get junk performance. :frown:

BAD performance and no Crossfire utilization (unless I enable it for games without a profile in the drivers) but then I get graphics glitches..

See top left corner of ingame pictures:

Seems to run fine on my two old 4850's in crossfire at 1080p (Can't go to 1440p because of 512MB VRAM :p)

    Not CF but concerning perf i got 7970Ghz + 3570k + 8gb DDR3

Average fps 40 @ La Havane with drop to 30-33 in Storm + Rain Condition @ Max except No motion blur + MSAA 4X

As said below : Ubisoft just lied again about "how optimised the game will be". Cpu Usage is Horrible : 1Core is fully used, the others are like 0 to 20% usage... As AC3

Do not buy Ubigames anymore on PC, they just dont care

    Just Google this.

Assassin's Creed 4 producer says PC optimisation isn't important
    But, but.

You also don't optimize the CPU code...(by multi-thread it)
When we can buy a "strong" CPU with a "strong" single thread performance...?

So I also finding more in the comment.
So it has been cut for click rate...

My old 6950's CF seem to be working pretty well with it, ie good scaling. Environmental detail is what causes the biggest fps hit with all the extra foliage it adds etc

Yes its true about utilization ,but to a certain extent for example if you enable eagle vision you will see frames getting locked at 60fps(no matter what scene) which would mean its not as CPU intensive as previously thought or I could be wrong and that foliage is actually the one heavily taxing CPU.

this is almost as much of a lagfest as ghosts....nah I take that back, this is bad, but not that bad.

only one card is scaling for me, second gpu doesn't even kick into 3d clocks. maxed settings at 2560x1440 except only fxaa, getting like 25-30fps.
