Well this morning I went to boot my pc and saw the screen flashing white for about 30 seconds.

I'm on windows 10, i7 5820k, gtx 980, 355.82, I get 180 warnings in event viewer from that period saying nvlddmkm has stopped responding and has recovered.

This is worrying as the gpu is only 2 months old is it likely the card is dying or could this be a new driver issue?

You're not the first one with this issue (unless that's you as well on GAF hehe). It seems that driver re-installation fixes the issue.

I had this issue just on Wednesday as well. Was quite weird and disturbing to boot the PC up to this. Went away after a re-install, which was the first thing I did.

I clean installed 355.60 so hopefully it doesnt do it again it was quite concerning to see 180 gpu errors at boot
