Most are 28AWG, thicker ones such as 26AWG should have no issues.

Just look for one that has a good number of reviews with 26AWG, 2.0b spec.

You're wasting your money. Your gpu and tv are designed for hdmi 2.0. they don't support 2.1.

As long as the cable supports the bandwidth the protocol determines the output and display. Currently the best you can attain with HDMI is 60hz 4K 4:4:4 UHD uncompressed RGB even if you had a 100 Gbps cable. It appears that MS is trying to do some sort of 8 bit dithering to implement HDR10 without resorting to reducing chroma...right now it's all a mess. Enabling HDR at 4K for me when connected via HDMI on my Samsung JU7100 makes the set look at as if it is in RGB limited...it's dull.
HDR 10 IMO is never going to be implemented correctly over HDMI 2.0b at 4K.
