I would not use M:LL bench as a measuring stick.

    Heaven likes intel CPU's.

We get almost identical Graphics scores in 3DMark11 - Looks like your CPU is pulling you ahead quite a bit

This is my best Firestrike so far - weirdly I just lost 1000 points with exactly the same OC on the card just now

Some claim that too high memory oc can make performance worse even though there's no artifacts. What RAM you card has?

    Here's mine:

    Nice score :)

    GPUz says Hynix

I tried for 1450 but it blackscreened on me, so I dropped back to 1350, but from stock vRAM speed to 1350 it does improve my scores

I have a feeling my CPU OC isn't stable, I just ran 3DMark11 again and lost 800 Physics points

Congrats mate. Fantastic card, very sexy design. Love that it comes with a backplate, although considering the length of higher end AMD cards they should as standard imo.

Worth to pay 94 € more for 290X? (Gigabyte) 479€ vs 385€ 290 Maybe it is.. dunno, looking to replace this 7950, got 1440p running. Suppose 290X is better then..

Cheers :) Yea I love the backplate, it makes the card very heavy, but it was like picking up something from a metalwork shop rather than a bendy plastic thing, it's as if it has roll-bars :D

There's some video benchmarks further up ^^^ that show the difference @ 1440p between 290 & 290X - there wasn't much in it tbh

^^It is, core probably tad bit over 1,2GHz (comparing to my results, I'd assume so) and memory oc too (and that resolution is not quite 1080p lol).

Forget that Gigabyte if you want card that runs cool and is not noisy.

Ah yea well spotted, and it's a mix matched Custom run not Extreme Preset or 100% maxed out fullscreen

Because they go for ~230 € here 2nd hand. If it were 180€ I'd go for it. But not more than 200€ tbh, pointless.

Because that is the settings for that Extreme preset

If you want to run it maxed out, set your LCDs native resolution and check full screen, then max out all the settings and give it a run

2466 is quite weak for Valley compared to that Heaven score.
