Which driver is the current golden child for Windows 10?

I'm having performance issues and wanted to see what you guys thought was the best option.

358.50 works perfectly, haven't had any strange issues and that's with SLI.

I always use the latest WHQL drivers and never had any noticable problems with my system (and I use a lot of obscure emulators and play old dx8/9 games - next to the latest AAA titles).

That is, since the Kepler performance fixes. Before that time I was really disappointed with performance with lots of game - especially when compared to the GTX970.
    Now it's a lot better.

I know I'm in the wrong section for me :D however, I think a good addition to comments would be what OS people are running, whether it is 7, 8.1, 10, or 10 TH2 preview.

The latest one. Always the latest one. Especially on a new OS.

358.70 up until the point of Nvidia having removed the driver from their DEV-site, for whatever reason, which weren't not specified, making me paranoid, reverted back to 358.59 at least for now.

I'm using the latest 358.70 and I'm having "driver stopped responding" problems from time to time... Didn't have this with the 358.50s.

But, you know, I'm lazy to get back to the previous drivers... LOL

Newest, which is the case the vast majority of the time unless you are playing a game with a specific problem on a specific driverset.

Newest, until you notice that something is wrong and then turn to a dev.driver or Hotfix.

These "What's the best driver" threads pop up almost weekly. Regardless of OS, 10 years ago or right now. There is no "golden child" no tricks or special versions.
The answer is 99% of the time whatever the latest and greatest is. If that's not good enough then it's a matter of simply trying out the driver versions for yourself.
And by that, usually that means you have an issue that was not present in an older version yet to be fixed in current reiterations.

Haven't updated since 355.60. Works well with Windows 10, Shadow of Mordor and Dying Light.
