Im interested in 4070 but that does not mean i'll buy. If its priced 499$ and has 12gb+ vram it does sound compelling.

I don't know yet, and to be honest, no educated decision is possible right now with neither hardware specs nor pricing nor availability known.

    None. Never again.

Until they showed how little they care about gaming crowd in the last two years...

And if AMD is not any better, I'll simply stop upgrading my PC and then stop playing games when not possible to play them anymore because it's too old.

Depends of the price. And performance.

Without testing the parts and knowing their specs/price to performance its tough to say though "usually" I'm in the camp of the 3070 / 3080 type tier. The 3000 series were mostly great cards in my view, the issues were 1) pricing and availability were just horrendous and 2) they skimped pretty hard on VRAM in my view -- 3070 should've had at least 10 gigs and 3080 should've had at least 12. There are now 3080s with 12, but many of them don't have that and the 3070 is still stuck with 8.

Looks like there won't be decently priced cards with 12GB or more, so I'll likely just pass. Nvidia have lost their mind.

yeah,I find that games with the pace of rdr2 are the most suitable for me now, so maybe it's time for an xsx pro when it comes out and a game pass subscription. keep the 3060ti for the pc to play older titles with dsr.

    I would a 4070, but only if it's 12GB.

And lets say 500-550€ max like initial 3070 series before it was all sold for mining..

look at that 3080 10GB for ~700€ and now 2years later still above msrp

EDIT: Actually I would like a full AD104 chip so that would be a RTX4080 12GB, but if it's more then 699$ it will be tricky.. is a lot of money in Europa land..

Waiting RTX TUF 4090 from ASUS. The price doesn't matter.

  16. I don't plan on upgrading any time soon, but I'd be fine with whatever has at least 12GB VRAM and matches or exceeds a 3060's performance. I'm fine with Ampere and the performance of a 3060 though, so 40 series would have to have something notable going for it.

If the specs of these cards are true and the gap is as big as rumored between the 4090 and the 4080, then i'd only be interested in the 4090. I had no issues buying the 3080 as the performance difference between that and the 3090 didn't imo justify the cost increase. But this totally depends on A weather the 4090 is US $1,500 and B also the performance of the 7900xt.

I've already decided. 4090 for me. My 3090 still rocks but I'm looking for a performance boost with some titles I own. I'm a 4k gamer.

My struggle is deciding between the 13900k and the 7950x. Still deciding.

That's also my next big decision, 13900k or 7950x :)
