Hi, I'm looking at different 1070ti's and there are big differences between the prices. The one I have in mind is the cheapest one, the EVGA SC ACX 3.0 Black Edition but there are not many reviews of it. What are your experiences with EVGA products that use this cooler? Ideally I'd like an MSI card but that price hike vs other cards is pretty substantial.

That card doesn't have a backplate unfortunately, which is annoying but explains the cheap price. Hm.

I could wait but I think the new cards will be expensive. I'm not looking to spend more than £500.

2070gtx will be 399, maybe 450£. But I doubt it will be that much.

£500 would be fine for the mid range or above of the newer line im sure, and performance will be better than the 1070ti afaik.

spending near 500 now is ott, i have seen 1080ti's going for around that now too.

Apparently it will be dual fan Or blower cooling system with 2 fans - less heat and noise.

Idk 1070ti surely isn't worth 500£.. that is literally 980ti OC ~1450mhz and that is not so fast for next gen games, 1080p sure np, but anything more or more fps I.e. 144Hz monitors it will be slow soon.

This 2070 should be at least 60-80% faster then 1070ti.. so around 1080ti territory.
+ new tensor cores for hardware Rtx rendering.

Full 2080 should be quite a beast, form what I saw 30-45% faster then 1080ti. Add extra 15-20% with manual oc.

Can't wait to see what nvidia can do for 4k gaming. A lit of games maxed out at 4k make newer cards struggle to achieve 60fps say nothing about 144fps which is becoming the new norm relatively fast with monitor prices dropping everyday. As for 1070ti it has A lot of life left in it especially at 1080p with every bell and whistle turned up. At 2k and 4k it's going to start struggling as newer games start pushing the envelope of graphics and textures.

I'll see what Nvidia delivers but I'm not waiting much longer. These cards are due to be announced on the 20th but when is the actual launch, when can we expect reviews?
