I've owned about a dozen screens so far and played with hundreds at a previous job (weeee). The buttons are always in different places.

Where do you prefer the power button? Or it doesn't matter to you?
Be specific, like the front of the display on the bottom right or under the screen, etc etc.

Not that this will start a trend or change the industry, just wondering because that's a common complaint on display reviews.

I wish the power button would be on the top right corner of the monitor. I feel that would be natural since sometimes have things scattered on my desk (beer) and have to move them out of the way to reach under, like my current display.

Bottom right, on the front, not underneath. It's the logical place for it.

I really don't care I have a power strip that when it sees the computer power down it cuts power to my monitors and amp so once they are turned on for the first time I never use the button again. But if I had to chose I would say bottom right pointing down and a physical button not a touch sensor.

Bottom right. I have it there, unfortunately it´s not physical, sometimes and i have to tap the monitor in the spot a few times before it turns on.

It's nice just press the power button on the tower and everything comes to life.

I've only used the power button once. when I bought my current monitor 2 years ago. don't really care where it is.

Well, except if your system is on 24/7.

If my PC goes to sleep not shutdown the power draw is so small that the power strip still turns off the monitors so al I have to do is wake is and everything still comes back on but I don't leave my computer on 24/7 seems like a waste of money.

Doesnt matter to me, as long as their functions are marked clearly and are push button (rather than touch sensors).

Current monitor has bottom right, underneath directly below the led. Don't really care where it is as long as it's easy to find.

I wish my screen didn't have one tbh. I just unplug it before i sleep. Even with the power button off it has a red light led. -_-

Mine is a samsung with a touch button on the bottom right at the front. Great since it allows for a symmetrical screen... but the print has rubbed off since and now everytime I wanna switch it on we gotta feel around for it till it switches on lol :(

Yeah my screen has a bright red LED on standby. If I wake up in the middle of the night, I think I'm in hell if I didn't turn it off.
