When to expect VRR for HDMI 2.1?

    I haven't heard much about this since a year or so ago. And, I wonder if this driver is still in the works?

    Any RX gpu will be capable of it. R9 series(Fury,300,200) or earlier, won't do as they are incapable of hdmi freesync with large resolutions/high framerate(hdmi 1.4a bandwidth limitations).

    I'm aware of that but haven't heard anything about it since then.
    I was wondering if they were still on course to releasing it at some point since the 5700 xt released.

    I guess it will be released by the time VRR becomes a standard for games and pc monitors. For the moment it is not something used as it isn't freesync/gsync. TVs aren't something that gpu manufacturers care about.
