well i finally made the decision to upgrade me graphics card as game wize the pc dunt seem to cut it anymore.

Im currently using a geforce 4 ti4600 128mb ram which is going on a year and a half and it would be nice to have a card with fully functional dx9 support and better specs

im wondering thought ive heard its possible using coolbits to go as high as 515/1.o5ghz on a fx 5950 ???

anyone got any experience with overclocking a 5950 ?? please do let me know be interested to see what these cards are like for overclocking

Since I don't do the whole benchmarking thing it's quite hard to give you before-and-after comparisions. Suffice to say - it's quite a bit quicker when clocked up :)

EDIT - I ought to say though, if you're having to pay full price then the preferred option would be to get a plain-Jane 5900 and clock the hell out of that. I never pay full price for hardware, and I got the 5950 at a much better price (£240). I've seen some fairly hefty overclocks on 5900's

I havent overclocked mine at all, Im sorta hesitant about it, as the PC is new, and its my baby lol jk.

But nah I havent Overclocked mine and it is still a ****in gorgeous card. havent had 1 problem with it.

Go with the Leadtek. It got the best performance test results n stuff with lots of websites.
