id imagine you can get a 6800GT rather cheap now, its a 256mb gddr3 card, i love it.

X800 doesn't support Shader Model 3.0(Required for HDR,softshadows and advanced effects in games)
So 7600gt is better.....More over ....in Near future..the nvidia's quantum physics technology will be avalible on cards above 7600...So dont buy a 6800gs......(although 7600gt will perform better with 16 pixel shader vs 12 on 6800gs)......
    Yeah...change your CPU too...:)

actually, the 6800gt is still like 300bux more expensive in australia..........
anyway i would go the 7600gt for sm3.0 and the performance shouldnt be too shabby either

don't worry about the 4x bandwidth. you are just about maxing that out though with the 7600. anything higher needs more than 4x.

Why? You have a MOBO that will run a E6300 C2D which offers a ton of performance for a very low price. Future proof if you can. It will save you in the long run.

As for Video card, you can buy a 7600GT for $99.00 USD (not sure what that is in Euros) So why buy a 6800GT? Just doesn't make sence to me.

It's still a good deal at that price. You almost ahve to expect to pay a litlle extra to live in a place as nice as Aussie! I wish I did. I'm studying abroad there next year i think and I can't wait!
