I'm downloading it right now and I was wondering what kind of score I'm supposed to get with my system.

There will be 9 processes running in the background (Explorer.exe will be closed) and 7 services loaded. I will run it at 1024x768x32 without AA and AF. CPU usage is constantly at 0%.

I'll stick with my original guess then, but if you score more, say around 2000, you've done well :)

I just did the tests and I got 2085 3DMarks. The tests where going incredibly smooth and I didn't get any short freezes.

All things considered 2085 is pretty good :)

Hmmm. I think your system is able to get a higher score than that. Have you tweaked your system or are all settings stock?

btw, how many background processes are nunning?

All settings are stock beside the fact that the drivers aren't official ATi drivers :p They are newest Omega ones.

My computer was running 43 processes during benchmark.

Wow! Thats a lot. I think you're able to disable 25 of those processes. Do you have any useless software on your harddisk? You could use Ad-Aware and CCleaner to clean up your system.

BTW, is it safe to fix register errors with CCleaner?

Gsxrjunkie, thank you for the link, really nice utility :)

It's safe. Actually I used that option in CCleaner a few hours ago.

Closed all un-needed programs, like firewall, antivirus and antispyware.. And the score? 5 points less then before :p

Go to windows and empty out your Prefetch folder. Go to Control panel/Internet Options/Delete all files/Delete all offline content/ok. Run Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D. Run Disk Cleanup and then run the Defragger. Restart your computer, turn off all unneeded services, check your oc and set all your video options to High Performance. Run the test a couple times. This should be as good as you get without adjusting your CPU/Memory Bios settings.

Greetings to the lord of the windoze tweaking!

Really man... these scores are pretty impressive...

    Congrats!

(Remember to make a copy of your configuration or of your windows or of all your tweaking... just in case windows decides not to start again, if that happens, you'll lose your hard done tweaking. :) )

Did the test again, closed all unneccesary progs, I set-up my DirectX 3D Profile to Benchmark too. And bow I got 4646 pts, that's 700 pts less then my highest score when I had about 40 progs running, and I run the test twice, I had 5 minute break after first one and then took the test again. What the hell?
