Firefox seems to keep out the bugs, because my virus scanner was obviously out of a job and Superantispyware only picks up the same two Microsoft cookies every time.

i hate NoScript, that is the single most annoying thing i ever encountered, i didnt last 5 minutes and had to remove it. Though i would not call Adblock a security software lol.

Browsers aren't security software. If you believe using firefox will make you less likely to get pwned then you should either: redirect both firefox's cache and internet temp folder to a RAMdisk. Or browse from a virtual machine. Using firefox alone won't save you....

The next time you compile firefox take a look at the user-agent. It includes enough information to get started on the search of, 'tying a persons name to the exact computer that visited my site.' Just like how other browsers would add pretty specific information because of the .NET versions there. Meanwhile no-script doesn't do anything that disabling activex plugins won't do. (You should do this in IE even if you never use it.)

Using Avast and Spybot Combination. So far it has served me good but then again i am not an irresponsible browser to visit shady sites.

common sense, although dont see why its called "common sense." if it were so common, more people would have it
