Just wanted to know what are most of you guys using
ESET Smart security.
Eset smart security
ESET Smart Security
But I intend to use MSE for my next system.
Avast Home / Windows Firewall / Malwarebytes check-up once a month
Comodo personal firewall
Comodo defense+ (UAC, but better :E)
both come together tho. I also make some eset online scan and spybot but like one per month and doesnt find anything (well, a tracking cookie xD)
Firefox seems to keep out the bugs, because my virus scanner was obviously out of a job and Superantispyware only picks up the same two Microsoft cookies every time.
Trend Micro and hardware firewall.
CIS 4 Beta (FW and D+).
Firefox with NoScript and AdBlock.
i hate NoScript, that is the single most annoying thing i ever encountered, i didnt last 5 minutes and had to remove it. Though i would not call Adblock a security software lol.
Browsers aren't security software. If you believe using firefox will make you less likely to get pwned then you should either: redirect both firefox's cache and internet temp folder to a RAMdisk. Or browse from a virtual machine. Using firefox alone won't save you....
The next time you compile firefox take a look at the user-agent. It includes enough information to get started on the search of, 'tying a persons name to the exact computer that visited my site.' Just like how other browsers would add pretty specific information because of the .NET versions there. Meanwhile no-script doesn't do anything that disabling activex plugins won't do. (You should do this in IE even if you never use it.)
Using Avast and Spybot Combination. So far it has served me good but then again i am not an irresponsible browser to visit shady sites.
Avast Antivirus pro 5 or G-Data Antivirus 2010 is my babys!
I use microsoft security something
nvm lol i posted 4posts ago xD
avast, windows firewall and common sense.
Nice, there are a few users of Comodo
A-Squared (Full license)
Panda Internet Security 2010 (Will probably change it)
i used it before and i didnt like it...and the suite too....ive test all the AVs that excists there and my choices is avast or G data....2 of the best for me....avast cause its light, good, and has prety cool feautures and g data cuase uses 2 engines avasts and kasperskys and its light too...
common sense, although dont see why its called "common sense." if it were so common, more people would have it
