Just a shout to see what kinda res u guys run ur games at and other settings!
1280 960 with 4X AA and 8X AF and it runs decent.
bet that looks good when its runnin smooth!
Call me stupid but I want the best performance possible so I don't use either AA or AF at all. I play all my games at 1024x768 @ 32-bit color & I've always thougt games look blurry with even 2xAA only.
1280x960x32 @ 83hz. Most games can run very smoothly with this, the ones that can't are cpu limited and makes no difference what I run it in. (ie: morrowind)
Depending on the game I use 2x or 4x af, but mostly only in older games because enabling 2x AF is like the same performance hit as jumping up a resolution on a gf3.
2048x1536 with 8x AA and 16x AF
No but i mean really, 1024x768 with 8x AF. I don't care for AA because i never really noticed it when i'm playing.
1280 960 with 4X AA and 8X AF with most games, if a game doesn't run smooth I start reducing AA, then AF
1024x768 @85Hz 4xAA 2xAF
either no AA or AF (halo, BF:V)
2xAA (Call of Duty, Soldner, Ut2k4)
8xAA (CS and CS:CZ)
i dont see a big difference with AF on when im playing games. Im too concentrated on what im doing that what the graphics look like.
I run screen res of 1024x768 -1600x1200 depending on the game plus 2xAA an upto 8XAF .
Quake 3 i use 1600x1200 with 8xAF
FS2004 1280x1024 2xAF ( stoped using AA due to some of the newer add ons )
TOCA Race Driver 2 1024x768 0 AA 0 AF
Vietcong 1600x1200 0 AF 0 AA
1024x768 in Most games with Trilinear Filtering AA off and AF off no VSYNC
Other games 1600x1200 with the same settings
I dont know why you people dont like AF, I play all my games in 1152x864x32 with 8x AF and with sometimes no AA or 4x AA... for me 8x AF is the same thing as Trilinear, I see no performance hit, just a better IQ ;D
1024*768@100hz 8af and 8aa and trilinear filtering ,vsync off
I always play All games "e.g: BF 1942/NFS UG/HomeWorld2/FiFa2003/War FT/Generals/UT2003/MOH series "@ Resolution 1152x864 OR 1280x1024 @ 32-Bit @ 2xAA / 2xA.F, i can't stand Graphics without Both of these two Fantastic Options,
Using 4xS AA (via rivatuner) and 2x AF.......works well for me.
1024x768, no AA, no AF, @ 60 hertz
1024x768x32 4x AA 8x AF in most games.
BFV 2x AA 4x AF
CoD 4x AA 8xAF
UT 2004 4xAA 8x AF
FarCry low AA and 4x AF
PainKiller 4x AA 8x AF
NR 2003 4x AA 8x AF
F1C (mod's) 4x AA 8x AF
Mohaa Spearhead 4x AA 8x AF
and they all run really well at those settings
1280x1024x32 @ 75 hertz, vsynk off, 4AA 8AF when possible to run smoothly.
17" LCD monitor (gotta love this baby )
Ex 5950U: 1024*768 / 4xS AA / 4xAF
5700: 1024*768 / 2xAA / 2xAF
