It's not even that bad to use iirc, as long as the game isn't a fast paced shooter, but you need to map the buttons all the time, the games need to support a multi-axle device and it's too bulky to be a permanent desktop resident. I also tried racing in GP3 with it...awkward lol.

Damn, some guru's have some really good stuff here! I might have to try one of those mechanical keyboards everyone keeps talking about. They just seem so damn expensive... except someone here said they got one for $5?? That must have been a garage sale or something lol

oh, and I forgot to mention I used my mx518 mouse with a Razer eXactMat. A great combination for fragging ;) Im also pretty shocked I haven't seen anyone else here that uses the mx518 mouse?? for shame! lol

Nah, OEM Keyboards, at least I think it's Mechanical, because it has the clicks and tactile feel of one, been using it since 2001, got a box of 5 for 50$ on Ebay.

Probably not Mechanical or whatever, but the response time is instant, no delay, and I like it's feel, it's size, it just fits my hands perfectly. I thought it was Mechanical because it feels different than the other Keyboards around here.

Plus it has the same switches below the keys like the Mechanical keyboard pictures show.

Regardless, I like it, it's cheap, and I got tons of spare, and the first one I had lasted me 7-8 years.

Crysis with a X360 controller, can't imagine that...

Then again, most FPS + Controllers suck hard. No precision. Even Microsoft thinks so, they, at one point wanted to merge the only communities of PC + X360, but they claimed the staggering victory percentage of PC players over Console players(5 to 1), made it outright frustrating for players on the Consoles and so they decided against it.

I use my 360 gamepad for games like Assasin's Creed, Prototype etc.

Depends on the game. I use my 360 pad in Burnout, and other racing games and emulated games, but shooters I use mouse and keyboard. For Wii emulation, I use an actual wiimote.

I absolutely 100percently have the most fun using the Falcon.:wanker:

When those bastard moments arise when I just can't live without a scroll wheel I'll dust off the trusty old G9.

Aaaaand this Saitek Cyborg keyboard... meh it works... but not worth the $50 my wife threw at it. The keys are pretty bouncy and paints wearing off the primary keys after about 6 months.

And amongst all that expensive gear... a cheap ass €5 microphone.

I've also got a few old mice which I no longer use or use for spare parts when stuff breaks or w/e:

      - 2x Logitech MX518
      - Logitech MX510
      - 2x Deathadder
      - Razer Imperator (awesome... until Z-Axis issues kick in, which turns it into an unreliable piece of crap, somewhat resolved by the new firmware and cutting plastic parts of the bottom, placing the print circuit with the sensor closer to the pad [increases lift-off though])
      - Logitech G500 (positive acceleration problem)

      Also, a HD280 Sennheiser for LAN's.

And tbh... now I know where all my money went :x

Haven't upgraded peripherals in at least ~3 years (I'm broke), but here's what I use:

Logitech G5 mouse - best gaming mouse I've ever used as far as comfort/feel

Saitek Eclipse keyboard - Blue LED backlit keys with two lighting levels, and can be turned off for convenience

Sennhesier HD212Pro headphones - Excellent quality and bass levels, these are *not* "gaming" headphones per se, but so the hell what? Beefy sound, and I used my X-Fi's CMSS3D anyway.

Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 - I probably spend more time playing old school console games on emulators these days than anything else, and this is the best gamepad I've yet used. Cordless is an obvious necessity, but it feels totally comfortable, using a classic d-pad and button layout which makes it feel like a comfortable, familiar pair of old gloves (or shoes, whatever); highly adaptable to every classic console configuration (except Nintendo 64!), perfect for nostalgic gamers like me.

Viewsonic VX2000 - Bought it in 2002, sorely needs to be upgraded. 20 inches and 1600x1200, excellent colors, it was top of the line when it was made. Unfortunately, the response time is truly horrible, especially compared to modern LCDs, and ghosting is pretty much non-stop. Luckily it hasn't died yet.

    EDIT:
Oh yeah, I have a Saitek X52 Pro. It was a gift, which means I can't sell it...which is a shame. I'd love to use it but I can't make it fit comfortably on my desk, and taking it out and setting it up is just too much damn trouble.
