ink: if Logitech made a nice ergonomic keyboard like that..... i might consider it.... but i love my MS Natural 4000 way too much. I can't stand having to use a standard non-ergo keyboard anymore, even for a minute. It just doesn't feel right anymore. Also.... i've never really been a fan of laptop scissor keys. again, something ELSE that just doesn't feel right for desktop use.
Roccat Kone - intersting to hear a bad opinion... My bro just ordered one, should be here tomorrow morning. All the personnal reviews he saw said it was great - several people went from G5's or G9's and thought it was a good upgrade! Surprised me too, but I guess we shall see tomorrow lol :3eyes: For me, I am running G15 mk1 - I really loved this KB and its styling + blue backlight keys. Have also always been a fan of that rubberised plastic feel that main body of it was made of. I say loved... because the Xmas before last it died a sad red death :eek3: One of my house mates has a beautiful very friendly long haired black cat who lovingly accidentially knocked over a tall glass of red wine right over it! I just couldn't be angry - his look as he jumped round glaring at the fallen glass with a mixture of surprise, annoyance at himself and a touch or so of guilt was so worth it in itself. I love him too much to even be a little annoyed with him  and that led to - as I don't like the drop in G Keys on the G15 Rev2 or its new display + older G15's were at the tim more than when they were new! : G19 - cept the price, I really love this KB and the ability to change backlighting to any possible colour you can imagine. Its mini LCD is very sharp for its size - can even just about read subs from my anime too LOL My only other gripe - For this kinda price I was expecting the volume roller to be a nice solid feeling metal, but sadly is a metal coloured cheap feeling plastic roller with admitidly a decent rubber grip around it. Works just fine though. G5 - Have really liked this mouse + been very impressed with its accuracy and can keep up with Very precise and fast movements (like all the new laser mice I am sure), could have done with a few extra buttons though... The feet have worn in the corners some as I use it a lot for both gaming and work. Amazon sell replacements for about £3 - will get some soon. Otherwise it lasted very well + its colouring did not wear on mine. Sry for the long one, kinda got carried away there!
Keyboard - Saitek Eclipse I - Great keyboard, 2 years old, indestructable. lol Mouse - Logitech MX 1100 - as usual, Logitech doesn't disappoint.
i got mine before Logitech had any wireless gaming mice. I had the Revo which seemed fine for gaming as well but developed some odd issue. The only thing i don't like about the Mamba, is it goes to sleep pretty quick when you stop moving it and so theres a delay in waiting for it to wake up. So i mostly use the wire connected. Also, sometimes...and i think this is a Mobo USB issue, After resuming from standbye, i have to re-insert the USB connector. So i started shutting down to avoid it. updating to latest firmware is a pain in the ass, requiring another mouse. I have yet to update..too lazy for that BS I think both companies make pretty good products though, Razor definitly has better packaging, not that it matters but they are always fancy.
G15 keyboard, though I'm looking for something different. And the G9 mouse, which may I add is great. I use the Steelseries 5L the metal pad, $50 is alot for a pad, but the glid on this this is BEASTLY.
getting Logitech G500 and G110 or Logitech Illuminated. i need an advise here! which one do you think is better g110 or Illuminated? i like backlight they both got it... but anyway which one is better
I'm not sure what country you are from but I recommend Hyperglide replacement mouse feet. I currently have a G500 but I also have about 4-5 G5's. I noticed the feet on Amazon UK are the Steelseries ones, I don't know anything about them but you honestly can't beat the Hyperglides. With the Hyperglides you get 2 sets as well. http://www.hyperglide.net/?hg=home Honestly, I'm waiting for Hyperglide to start making feet for the G500 because of how much smoother they are than the stock feet.
my mouse is a microsoft habu (dont snubb it till youve tried it lol) BUT my keyboard is a £4.99 jobby. i use it because all the key are exactly where i want them. ive not found a decent k/board with this layout
Razer Deathadder & Razer Tarantula (With Razer Goliathus Mouse Mat) IMO, they're fantastic, the only thing that I would prefer is all the keys illuminated.
Hmm, odd, I get this now and again even though I shut down and turn the switch on the power supply to off, so dont think its just an issue with standby :3eyes: Razer Lachesis Banshee Blue and a £2 or £3 keyboard here (which I'm going to replace in the future lol, had it for years and a lot of the keys are totally worn now)
Keyboard: Fractal design Linear Aluminium (pleased) Mouse: Logitech mx518, it's great but could be improved. All of them seem to have a problem with a high pitched noise plus they could update the mouse to become as responsive as some of the competition. 1000hz for instance.
Nothing's wrong with Habu, its just a Microsoft mouse with Razer innards. So I don't understand why people would bash you for getting it, as its a great mouse. At least I've always thought that. I don't own one since it would be hard for me to use, as its design isn't ambidexstrious and I need a mouse that is, so I can use it with ease in my left hand.
