Re: weak Get yourself a Radeon 9550 with 4ns memory (budget solution) Many overclock to the level of 9600Pro, at least the GPU. Get yourself a Radeon 9600Pro with 2.8ns memory (another budget solution) and overclock up to XT clocking or more. Below my old score : http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=7892268 and default http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=7707717 In 3D03 I got about 4.5k after OC.

Hmm, should I be disappointed to my score in '01 with this machine, I got ~20400, specs on the left yeh. GPU was running at normal clocks, nothing were oc'ed, and FSB was only 200, so what do you think? Should I get more than that, I think I would .
Help guys. I got a 13768 score from 3DMark2001SE. Does it comply to my specs? IT's a newly formatted system, with the latest ATI Catalyst and motherboard bios and drivers. Some say I get a low score. What should I do? Thanks in advance!
habble...that score's pretty good...replace your SB Live! 5.1 with a shiny new Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS and you will get a better score...but personally there is nothing wrong with your system...if it plays your games and performs well then no need to upgrade...the "new" systems aren't as good as everyone is lead to believe...now more expensive...
Really? Whoah, I was just wondering a bit, 3dmark doesn't play any sounds, doesn't it? Well I saw in some site (hardwareanalysis.com) that they got a score of 16000+.. so I guess my processor should lift up the score if I upgrade it, right?
Yes, you're right, but your system is not overclocked at all, P4B 2.4Ghz is similar in performance to Athlon XP 2500+ (more or less) and you're running in single DDR mode, what must greatly decrease the overall performance. Again, there's no point in running a P4 system without Dual DDR mode and I'm pretty sure you'll benefit much, if you get another stick of ram. Btw. Here's my new score (made with the window opened wide and with help of my new CPU) : ORB=>21681 http://republika.pl/headbanger/PCP/2001SE4b.jpg
