Balut - boiled duck egg with partially developed fetus. It wasn't that bad, but there was part of the inside (where the nutrients are stored) that when boiled were so chewey I swear I was eating a racketball ball.

I caught a rattlesnake once. Chopped off the head around 10am and threw it in the cooler. Got it home about 9 hours later, at 7 pm. Pulled it out and gutted it only to find the heart was still beating and the snake was still moving. IT HAD NO HEAD! It made skinning it really tough and when I put it in the pot it would try and climb out. It was nuts. I made stew in slow cooker, but that didn't taste too good.
