X-wing (by lucas arts) and the original Command & Conquer were the first pc games I played on occasion when I had some free time. I played on a 32mb Diamond Vipor 770 for a while back then. I don't remember any other specs from that time. As GeneralJoint said
Then when Soldier of Fortune 2 was released I can say that's when it all changed and became a gamer. :rpg:
I played SOF 2 on the same 32mb Diamond Vipor 770 before upgrading to Nvidia 4200Ti 128mb. Ever since then, there was no looking back since!

i don't remember which C64 or Amiga game was the first i tried. but i definitely remember which pc game made me buy my first pc: X-wing. i was a vivid star wars freak back then and that game was almost like being in the movies for me.

Some amiga game where you controlled either a jeep or a helicopter. It was a sidescrolling type game.

    Edit: It was silkworm.

Those games you got with Windows 3.1 games pack, like the skiing game which ended in you being eaten by a robot every time.

    Then probably Age of Empires.

First FPS was Medal of Honour AA, "a 3D game in first person!!!??? its almost real!"

I second that. After playing quake 3 on the dreamcast, I soon jumped on the PC version and continued playing for another 3-4 years non stop :O

Well i started off with a Commodore VIC 20 and played a game called "New York Blitz". Then had a C64 , Amiga and all the consoles (Megadrive,SNES,PS1,Saturn,Dreamcast etc)

Bought my first Windows PC around 1999. Bought it for Championship Manager!!
It had a whooping 600mhz Celeron, onboard gfx and 64mb ram :D

I played a game called Delta Force Land Warrior and that was it for me. Online greatness!!!:biggun:

After that CS/CZ for years. Great times tbh.
